WineNot Boutique Wine and Culinary Tours
We are so excited to announce our latest adventure – a guided wine and culinary tour of Tuscany in September 2016. We spent the whole summer perfecting our itinerary, and it looks phenomenal. We will be visiting a lot of famous places in Tuscany: Sienna, Florence, Cortona, San Gimignano, Greve and Montalcino in the company of local winemakers, chefs, tour guides, and sommeliers who are very passionate, knowledgeable and happy to share the beauty of this region with us.
This trip will be the combined efforts of Svetlana Yanushkevich (owner of WineNot Boutique & The Wine Steward) & Roberta deGrandis (owner of Let’s Go Travel,LLC). Svetlana has already organized 3 international wine and culinary tours and in each tour the goal was to reach the right balance between winery visits, culinary & culture experiences, meeting great local people, and having enough free time for exploring. Her connections in the wine industry helped to arrange very special winery visits and a private cooking class with Sarah Fiorini, well known Italian chef, sommelier, and winemaker. Roberta has more than 15 years experience in the travel industry, big passion for wine, and a lot of great contacts. She will be joining us on the trip as our Professional Tour Director. The full itinerary can be found here. The cost of the trip is $2995 double occupancy.
A Wine and Culinary Adventure in Northern Spain, a 7-day, 7-night tour of Northern Spain’s wine country took place September 20th-27th 2015. This exciting, once-in-a-lifetime tour, led by professional sommelier and wine educator Svetlana Yanushkevich and tour partner Basque Experiences, took a small group of travelers to six important wine making and cultural regions of Northern Spain including Bilbao, Navarra, Priorat, Rioja, Aragon, and Barcelona. This customized tour emphasized learning about the wines and winemaking traditions of Northern Spain but was balanced by plenty of culinary and cultural experiences. The tour included many experiences not available in other mass market tours and some were only available because of our connections in the wine industry. The short summary can be found here. The full itinerary can be found here. Photos of our amazing trip can be found here.
A Taste of Champagne, Burgundy, and Paris – June, 2014
France is one of the food and wine capitals of the world. We’ve arranged for a special tour to explore the superb wines and foods of this beautiful country. We will be staying in the center of the Champagne Region, the historic city of Reims; the “Capital of Burgundy wines”, Beaune; and the one-of-a-kind city, Paris. Svetlana has put her personal touch on this tour, which will highlight some of her favorite wines and wineries. Check out the photos of this amazing trip.
We partnered with the company French Wine Tours whose guide, John Sherwin, is a graduate of Cambridge University. He continued his studies at L’Université du Vin de Suze-la-Rousse, qualifying as a sommelier conseil or ‘wine advisor’. He founded French Wine Tours in 2000 and has extensive experience with all French wine regions and French culinary traditions

A Taste of Piedmont – October, 2013
Partnering with Grabyourbag Travel and Tour de Forks, WineNot Boutique took clients on an amazing 7-night custom wine tour to the finest wine region in Italy: Piedmont. From October 12-19, 2013 we were on a non-stop wine and culinary experience of a lifetime. View photos of our amazing trip!
Along with its superb wines, Piedmont is the birthplace of the Slow Food Movement. It is famous for its white truffles, creamy cheeses, and rich chocolates. It also boasts picturesque hill towns, elegant cities and stunning mountain vistas. We visited opulent baroque cafes in Turin, shopped at bustling produce markets, toured many wineries, hunted for truffles in Alba, cooked up some regional specialties with a local chef, and had many amazing wine lunches and dinners.
