Spring Wine Spectacular

wine-samplingIf you love fine wines, artisan food and live music, you are invited to join us on Friday March 17th (6-9pm) for WineNot Boutique’s First Annual “Spring Wine Spectacular” at the Crowne Plaza in Nashua, NH.

About the Wines & Craft Beers & Artisan Food

Join us to experience more than 80 high quality, hard to find wines from iconic, well-known, wineries like Carol Shelton, Jadot, Viberti, Gamba, Anton Bauer as well as amazing wines from small producers from Italy, France, California, Austria, Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Slovakia, Spain, Portugal and South Africa.

This event is scheduled on St Patrick Day, and to the addition to 80 amazing wines, you will have a chance also to taste craft beers, locally made ciders and to sample artisan food from local producers. The Grand Wine tasting will be complemented by appetizers prepared by Crowne Plaza executive chef Todd Lytle.

Charity Raffle

During our Grand Tasting events, we always hold a charity raffle to support one local charity in NH. This spring 100% of our charity raffle will go to The PLUS Company in Nashua, NH. This company assists individuals with disabilities in our community. Their programs are created with the vision that all people with disabilities have the confidence, dignity, and skills needed to lead lives of independence and quality.

The Crowne Plaza will be offering a special rate of $99 for that evening for our clients who wants to stay overnight.  When you call to reserve a room please specifically ask for the Grand Tasting room rate when you make a reservation.

Tickets to this event are $35 per person.

About the Author

Svetlana Yanushkevich, the owner of WineNot, grew up on the southern peninsula of Ukraine, known as Crimea. Crimea is famous for its 2,000-year-old tradition of winemaking. As a child she learned about wine from her uncle, who worked in Massandra, the imperial winery of Nikolai II, Czar of Russia. Later she graduated from the Crimean State Agricultural University with an MS in Viticulture, and PhD in Agriculture. She then worked as an Associate Professor of viticulture at the Crimean Agro-Industrial College.

In 2002 Svetlana’s roots were transplanted to the United States, where she decided to broaden her education in wine. She enrolled in the London-based Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET), one of the most internationally prestigious programs, and completed its highest degree, Diploma Level, in just 4 years.

Svetlana managed the wine program at several very prestigious Philadelphia restaurants, the three-diamond restaurant The Marker, and four-diamond Penne Restaurant & Wine Bar. She worked as wine educator for corporate and private clients in Philadelphia.

In 2007 she and her family moved to Nashua, NH, where she decided to open WineNot Boutique, winner of “The Best of The Best Wine Shop of NH 2011-2014” by Hippo, “The Best Wine Store of Greater Nashua 2011″ by Nashua Telegraph, “The Best Wines of Greater Nashua 2011″ by Nashua Telegraph, “The only A rated Wine Shop of NH” by the Better Business Bureau of NH. Svetlana Continues to offer her expertise by offering unique wine educational events to private and corporate clients.
